Last night I went to a moth event at a local naturalist’s house. We used light to attract forest moths to a white sheet for identification and photos. There’s always something mind-blowing about getting a peek into the secret world of nocturnal wildlife! My favorite one is in the third photo: the huge and incredibly bark-like Common Lytrosis.

I’ve always liked moths more than butterflies.
